The Weight of Will: Healing vs. Hurting
The Weight of Will: Healing vs. Hurting
History is a mirror reflecting the power of the human spirit. When we look back at the figures who shaped our world, we see a common thread: a profound sense of entitlement. But while one person felt entitled to own, another felt entitled to restore.
The difference isn’t found in their level of conviction, but in the Energy and Awareness they brought to their cause.
Transmuting Entitlement through GAUGE
* Gratitude vs. Greed: Those who did harm felt entitled to “more” because they lacked a foundation of Gratitude. The healer, however, feels entitled to act because they are so grateful for the gift of life that they cannot stand to see it diminished.
* Awareness of Interconnectedness: The tyrant sees themselves as separate, an island of power. Our teachings emphasize an Awareness that sees the “other” as an extension of the self. To heal another is, in truth, to heal a part of our own body.
* Unity as the Ultimate Standard: Entitlement becomes toxic when it serves the “I.” It becomes holy when it serves the “We.” True leaders in history embodied Unity, believing that no one is truly whole until the entire collective is uplifted.
* Growth through Service: Those who sought to harm often found their empires crumbling because their Growth was extractive. Sustainable growth—the kind we practice in our PMA must be generative. We grow by giving and receiving, inhaling and exhaling.
* The Energy of Conviction: It takes a massive amount of Energy to change the course of history. When that energy is fueled by a sense of divine entitlement to heal, it becomes an unstoppable force for good.
Reflection for the Week
Ask yourself: In what areas of my life am I acting out of an entitlement to “get,” and where can I shift that into an entitlement to “give” or “restore”?
“The healer does not wait for permission to act; they claim the right to heal through the authority of Love.”
Closing the Circle
We carry the lineage of both the destroyer and the restorer within our own DNA. Every choice we make is an exercise of our Energy a vote for the world we wish to build. As we move forward, let us reclaim “entitlement” not as a demand for service from others, but as a sacred mandate to be of service to the whole.
The GAUGE Commitment:
* Gratitude: I acknowledge the power I hold.
* Awareness: I recognize how my actions echo through history.
* Unity: I act only for the highest good of all.
* Growth: I evolve beyond the ego’s need for control.
* Energy: I direct my will toward the frequency of Healing.
By aligning our sense of purpose with these principles, we ensure that our legacy is one of restoration.
Be the Healer. Claim your right to be the light and the shadow.
