You can't go back so what are you becoming?

with Enhancing Your World with Larkin & Chris

We spend a lot of time trying to get back to who we were, what we had, or how life felt before everything changed and the circumstances around us shifted. But can we ever really go back? Have you ever physically gone back into your past? Have you ever actually time-jumped into the future? Or have those experiences only existed through the imagination, memory, and projection of the mind? Every experience gives us new information. Every relationship, mistake, loss, success, addiction, recovery, heartbreak, ceremony, and moment of awareness changes the way we see ourselves, one another, and the world around us. So maybe healing isn’t about returning to an old version of ourselves. Maybe it’s about becoming more conscious of who we are now, what we’ve learned through experience, and how we choose to participate in what comes next. In this episode of the Enhance Your World Show, I share some of my own experiences with recovery, relationships, trust, personal growth, and building Enhancing Your World while exploring a question I think many of us eventually face: If we can’t go back, what are we becoming? We’ll explore how the past can become information rather than identity, why trust can only truly be understood through experience, and how greater awareness gives us the opportunity to participate differently moving forward. The past may show us where we’ve been. Our dreams may reveal a direction. But the bridge between the two is built through how we participate today. Enhancing your world enhances our world.
